BOSHC was established in 1989 by the Bohlevale SS P&C with 12 children in care. In 2005 it was granted a licence as a Centre-Based Child Care Service and became an Accredited Centre under Quality Assurance with the NCAC. BOSHC staff have qualifications in Childcare, Food Handling and First Aid. The service operates from 2:30pm-6:00pm on school days and during school vacations from 7:30am-5:30pm. Afternoon tea is provided on school days and at least two major activities are offered each afternoon. Homework time is also made available in the afternoons. Programs are displayed in the centre. Weekly fees and casual fees are available and childcare benefits are available. To enrol at the centre you must obtain an enrolment package from the Coordinator.
