Bohlevale State School is a proud Partner School in the 2009 NQ Cowboys Adopt-a-School Program. The school has been involved since the program began in 2002 and in that time Bohlevale students have interacted with their adopted players Daniel Strickland, Brett Anderson and Dayne Weston. Dayne scored his first NRL try in 2008 and Bohlevale students presented him with a trophy and certificate recognising his achievement. Players will make 6 visits to their adopted schools during the rugby league season, working with a variety of classes. They will be actively promoting Rugby League's OneCommunity message:
