Parents/caregivers wishing to enrol students at Bohlevale State School for the 2010 school year can print all necessary information from this page. Responsible Behaviour Plan for Students Internet access agreement and Media Release 2010 Booklist - to be finalised If the student/s have not previously been enrolled in a Queensland State School, then the parent/caregiver will need to provide the student's birth certificate as proof of identity. Enrolling Your Child in the Preparatory Year [Prep] Prep is full-time and not compulsory. Prep is available to all children of eligible age and there are no waiting lists. Children need to be 5 by 30 June in the year they enrol in Prep. Target prep class size is 25 children. Print this brochure for more information about Prep programs at Bohlevale State School. From 2008 the starting age for Year 1 will increase by six months. Children will need to be six by 30 June in the year they enrol in Year 1. As Prep is not compulsory some parents may choose to keep their children at home or send them to child care before enrolling in Year 1.
** Students born 1 July 2002 to 31 December 2002 would previously have been eligible for preschool in 2007. Preschool finished at the end of 2006. With the Year 1 starting age increasing by six months, these children are eligible for Prep in 2008. Community kindergartens and other early childhood providers offer programs for children prior to enrolment in Prep. |
